What Is Intuitive Eating Anyway?

 

Intuitive Eating is an evidenced-based self-care eating framework brought to life by two registered dietitians, Evelyn Tribole, MS, RDN, and Elyse Resch, MS, RDN in 1995. This is a weight-neutral approach that brings you back in touch with your body’s inner wisdom through increasing interoceptive awareness (your ability to tune into the signs and signals that your body is sending you). This empowers you to make food and movement choices that feel right in your body.

 

The Intuitive Eating Framework is based on 10 Principles:
